For fleets, lessors and banks

Fleet vehicle disposal, recorded at every step.

You cannot dispose of what you cannot see. Fleet Desk lets your team inspect any vehicle remotely, wherever it sits, and follow it from valuation to settlement under one reference.

Who it is for

Fleet owners retiring vehicles, lessors handling end-of-lease returns, banks managing repossessed and voluntarily surrendered stock, and rental companies cycling out ex-rental vehicles.

Inspect where the vehicle sits

A branch yard, a driver's driveway, a repairer. Your own staff or drivers inspect with the same guided tool private sellers use. Every inspection is timestamped, photographed and tied to a reference. Where you need one, an appraiser comes out to the vehicle instead.

Inspections are free for any vehicle you consign to us for sale. For inspections that do not lead to a disposal, such as pre-delivery inspections or stock checks, see the company plans.

What each inspection records

  • the registration number or VIN, and the current mileage
  • eight photos: all four sides, the interior, the odometer, the VIN plate and the damage

Registration paperwork is tracked and held securely, with a clear record of what is on file and what is in custody.

From inspection to payout

Each vehicle receives an indicative desktop valuation, confirmed after a physical inspection. Nothing goes to sale until the reserve is agreed. Every vehicle then moves through the same eight stages, each one recorded:

  1. Inspect. The vehicle's condition, photographs and mileage are recorded.
  2. Validate. Registration and licensing details are checked against official records and the vehicle itself.
  3. Appraise. A valuation is produced from verified market data and the condition record.
  4. Mandate. A reserve is agreed with you and confirmed before anything else happens.
  5. Secure documents. The registration paperwork is verified and held securely.
  6. Stock in. The vehicle is formally accepted into the disposal process.
  7. Sell. The vehicle is sold through a vetted auction partner.
  8. Settle. Proceeds are reconciled and paid out through the disposing partner. No funds are held on the platform.

The result is a record a credit committee or auditor can follow, rather than one reconstructed from spreadsheets afterwards.
